2022 Cochon Old Vine Rosé
Displays a bright salmon pink color. The vibrant aromatics are intense and complex, yet simply pure and inviting. Lifted aromas of stone fruit blossoms, Rainier cherry, Provencal melon and ruby grapefruit lead to a light to medium bodied palate, bright acids showing plenty of finesse with a rounded texture and a hint of tannin. The mouthwatering flavors are bright and focused. The stone fruit, wild cherry, melon rind and grapefruit are complemented by mineral hints. The pure, fresh flavors persist to a crisp and lively finish.
2022 Domaine de Fontsainte 'Gris de Gris' Rosé Corbieres
A crystalline salmon color with superb amethyst tints. Expressive and particularly tonic, the wine immediately gives off notes of raspberry, cherry and freshly picked strawberries - followed by exotic aromas such as pineapple and mango. A direct and considerable freshness - the density and richness of the fruit mingle with the superb acid vitality giving a wine with a frisson and a magnificent persistency. Stunningly balanced, this is an extremely appetent wine!• The first vineyards at Domaine de Fontsainte were planted by the Romans. The original domaine was built around a thermal spring, which was later named for the local, 12th-century patron saint, Saint Siméon; hence Fontsainte—the saint’s fount.
• This wine is a blend of 90% Grenache Gris, 5% Carignan, & 5% Mourvèdre
